I don't have an iPhone — how do I access my experience on Android?Updated an hour ago
If your Eventshop product includes a mem-re experience and you’re on Android, you can still access everything! It just works a little differently than on iPhone.
How Android access works
App Clips are an iPhone-only feature, so on Android your mem-re experience will open in your mobile browser instead. The content is exactly the same, and you’ll just access it through Chrome or your default browser rather than an App Clip.
How to get started
- Open your phone’s camera app and scan the QR code on your product, or tap the NFC chip if your product has one
- A link will appear — tap it to open the experience in your browser
- If prompted, allow camera access (required for AR experiences)
- Your mem-re experience will load in your browser
Troubleshooting on Android
- Make sure NFC is enabled if you’re trying to tap rather than scan. Go to Settings → Connected Devices → NFC and make sure it’s turned on.
- Use Chrome if possible. Some browsers on Android handle camera permissions and web experiences better than others. If you’re having trouble, try opening the link in Chrome.
- Enable camera permissions in Chrome if the AR experience isn’t working. Go to Chrome → Settings → Site Settings → Camera and make sure it’s set to Allow.
A few things to know
- Not all Eventshop products include a mem-re experience. mem-re is available on select products for participating events only.
