Do I need to download an app to access my experience?Updated an hour ago

It depends on the product and your device. For most mem-re experiences, you don’t need to download a full app — but here’s what to expect.

iPhone

On iPhone, many mem-re experiences launch via an App Clip — a lightweight mini-app that opens instantly when you scan the QR code or tap the NFC chip. App Clips don’t require a full download and appear automatically as a prompt on your screen. Some experiences may open directly in Safari or your browser of choice instead.

Android

On Android, mem-re experiences typically open in your mobile browser. App Clips are an iPhone-only feature, so Android users will access the experience via a web link. The content is the same, just delivered through your browser rather than an App Clip.

A few things to know

  • Not all Eventshop products include a mem-re experience. mem-re is available on select products for participating events only.
  • Keep your browser and OS up to date. An outdated browser or operating system can occasionally cause issues loading the experience. If something isn’t working, try updating your device and trying again.
  • App Clips are iPhone-only. If you’re on Android and see references to an App Clip, don’t worry — your experience will load in your browser automatically.
